The foundations of the Supreme Court of Justice building had to be excavated and exposed in order to reinforce them and also build new shear walls from the foundations up to the 10th floor. All work had to be carried out while the building remained in normal operation throughout the intervention, which required extensive planning and coordination to avoid affecting the users.
