“The construction of two bunkers to house two linear accelerators for radiotherapy treatment was a key component of this project.

As it was our first experience with mass concrete placement, we had to implement additional measures to ensure the highest level of precision. This included careful planning of formwork construction, control of concrete temperature, adjustments to concrete densities (due to radiological protection requirements), and other technical details.

To maintain a steady supply of concrete, these tasks were carried out during nighttime shifts, ensuring an uninterrupted flow of concrete trucks (mixers).”
